Responsibilities:

The Tandoor Chef is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all tandoor dishes, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to our recipes. They will also maintain a clean and organized work station, and assist with other kitchen duties as needed.

Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor dishes, including naan, roti, tikkas, and kebabs.
Maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring optimal temperature and performance.
Ensure food quality and presentation meet restaurant standards.
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Tandoor Chef with a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking techniques. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality food and service.

Minimum of one to two years of experience as a Tandoor Chef in a restaurant setting.
Proven ability to prepare a wide variety of tandoor dishes.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices and ingredients.
Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift 20kg.
